Title:  Contract Instructional Designer (Pharma Focused)

Location: Remote

Availability: Full Time 3 Month Contract, 40 Hours per Week

Rate: $80-90/hour; depending on scope of work

 

We are looking for a Full Time Contract Instructional Designer with experience in Pharma to support our Client.  This is a full time, 3 month contract with possibility of extension.  This role will provide: 

Instructional Design/Writing/Training Delivery:

  • Develops course outlines and design documents; creates scripts and storyboards for various delivery methods for our clients
  • Attends project-specific meetings with internal and client teams for all assigned projects/programs
  • Participates in collaboration meetings with contract IDs and creative staff to support graphic/visual development
  • Works directly with the client to design and develop courses that support learning needs
  • Designs and develop courses that support the learning needs of our clients
  • Presents course design and materials to internal and client team members and incorporates feedback
  • Validates, delivers, and evaluates the final training program and/or job performance product
  • Ensures that the courses meet the learning objectives and makes necessary adjustments
  • Designs and develops performance measures for our clients’ learning programs
  • Recommends appropriate learning strategies based on client priorities/objectives and learner needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3 years in a former training experience preferred (Regional Trainer, Home-office trainer, Preceptorship, etc.)
  • Exceptional presentation/facilitation skills and written communication skills to varying management levels.
  • Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects.
  • Must be able to self-motivate and demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to independently perform effectively.
  • Expertise with key software is preferred (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Webex, Outlook, LMS, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Has a sound understanding of the Pharma industry and Pharma sales process/skills
  • Ability to learn the science, even if it is not deep, but enough to understand how to build it into a workshop when applicable
  • Ability to listen to the needs and creatively assess and suggest options for solutions
  • Ability to diagnose training needs and develop content and pull through materials
  • Ability to be strategic and creative in the design of training programs
  • Ability to translate Brand strategy to training
  • Effective in building interactive, application-based workshops and curriculums
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to excel in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a cross functional and matrix environment
