Account Director

Ardent is looking for an Account Director to join our growing team in Franklin, TN. Our ideal candidate will have a strong professional services background across multiple industries and should be confident and comfortable in leading both client and internal project teams.

In this role, you will…

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for day-to-day management of key client accounts.
  • Handle the strategic direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and oversight for all projects for a single client (or group of clients) while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of Ardent.
  • Drive revenue growth within accounts; possessing the skills to explore, scope, forecast and close opportunities as part of a documented account plan.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly, with excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Balance a tactical and strategic mindset; being both a 'thinker' and a 'doer'

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Communications or related field
  • 7 – 10+ years’ experience as a team leader on strategic programs/development engagements
  • 3 – 5+ years' experience in team member development
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of change management techniques and tools
  • Experience in strategic planning and risk management
  • Proficiency in tools and technology including project management software tools
